A classic Essex County tea or breakfast table with one board, molded-edge serpentine top, urn-shaped post and with cabriole legs ending in padded shoe feet. There are no repairs or restoration and it retains a great old surface in both color and quality. The table is from the Newburyport area, circa 1785, mahogany with a birch block, and the top measures 33½ by 33¾, and the height is 27¾ inches.
