WILLIAMSBURG, VA. — “Printed textiles were really available to every level of society,” said Linda Baumgarten, senior curator of textiles and costume at Colonial Williamsburg. This video introduces the newest exhibition for the museum entitled “Printed Fashions: Textiles for Clothing and Home,” surveying printed textiles from 1700-1820.
