The house has working shutters, colored glass inserts, a door – which shields a mirror, a slot for coins and has exquisitely carved details. The house lifts up to expose a velvet lined interior with compartments and a mirror. Size: 24" high x 29.75" wide x 14" deep Price: $5500.00 The companion piece is a tramp art tower which also exhibits colored glass inserts and working doors. Both pieces fit snugly on a layered and notch carved tramp art platform. There are wooden clasps, one in each corner, to hold each piece in place on the platform. Each piece can be exhibited separately. Found in the Midwest. Circa 1890s.
