NEW YORK CITY — Morrison H. Heckscher, Lawrence A. Fleischman chairman of the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will retire early next year, it was announced at the museum’s board of trustees meeting on October 12.
No date has been set, according to the museum, but he has reportedly agreed to stay in place until a successor is chosen.
