Visitors to the National Media Museum in Bradford, England, are discovering the influence early scientific photography had on modern and contemporary art in an exhibition featuring some of the rarest images from the pioneers of photography. Colin Harding, curator of photographs and photographic technology at the museum explains the challenging and scientific process of making a daguerreotype, one of the earliest photographic processes. “Revelations: Experiments in Photography” continues at the National Media Museum until February 3.
