Designed as a necktie, the carved onyx plaque with bezel-set step-cut emeralds suspending an articulate openwork band bead- and bezel-set with old European- and single-cut diamonds, approximate total weight 6.75 cts., further bezel-set with various cabochon gems including rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, millegrain accents.

A Very Fine Champlevé Enamel Three Piece Clock Set
A circa 1900 French enameled gilt brass rococo style clock set retailed by Spaulding and Co, Chicago. The circular dial with Roman chapter enclosing twin key escapements within a glazed hinged door and parcel gilt domed shaped case with all over champlevé enameled designs, surmounted by a shaped arched bonnet centering a seated figure of Cupid with flaming torch. The time and strike movement signed Japy Freres. Together with a pair of urn-form two handled vases of matching champlevé enamel designs, the whole raised on scrolling acanthus cast feet.
