Salem, antiques show cat and beloved companion to antiques dealer Bill Kelly, lost his courageous fight with diabetes and kidney disease on April 23. He was 12½ years old.

He had been a familiar sight at antique shows on the East Coast and as far away as Nashville and Texas. Always featured in Kelly’s ads, Salem could usually be found napping in a corner cupboard or on whatever piece of furniture suited him at antiques shows and had many admirers across the country.

He will be forever missed and loved.
