Boston style bombe secretary, late 19th-20th C., desk and bookcase on frame in mahogany, sloped pediment with dentil over bookcase, two beveled glass mirrored doors centering Corinthian capped columns, bombe shaped desk with four conforming drawers, frame with hairy ball and claw feet, finish seems original, possibly from the Waldorf Astoria, wear consistent with age and use, sold as is, 100" h. x 46" w. x 24" d. [Being sold to benefit a New England Institution.] [Secretary is in three parts, top cabinet, bottom chest, and footed stand, also detached pieces in drawer.]
