WEATHERVANE: "Jockey on Running Horse" molded copper weathervane, American, late 19th C., horse and jockey with hollow molded copper bodies, horse with zinc or cast-iron head, jockey holds crop (bottom part missing) and copper reins connected with martingale straps, tail previously detached and loosely reattached, remnants of gilded finish, verdigris patina to copper body, very similar examples attributed to D. W. Fiske, wear consistent with age and use including splits to joints, reattached tail, damage and loss to crop, several old repairs to body, bullet hole through jockey's head, etc., sold as is, on custom stand, size of horse and rider only: 23 1/2" h. x 30" l. x 5" d.
