Rare Federal Window Seat- Price Upon Request
Rare Federal window seat, mahogany, beech (American beech by microanalysis), may have been one of a pair for underneath two large Palladian windows. Having a bowed front seat framed, the bench is supported by finely turned and carved reeded legs. It measures 17½ inches high by 57 inches wide by 19 inches deep, American, probably New England, circa 1800–15.
