Grand and profusely hand-carved solid rosewood oval tilt-top center table, made during the reign of William IV; acquired by British watercolorist C. Bigot whose stamp is impressed on the table's block. Bigot created a series of maritime topic watercolor prints during the second quarter of the 19th century. A table of great presence and utility: center table, library table, tea or dessert table, morning or breakfast room table.
