Welcome to Jenkinstown Antiques. Owner Sanford Levy opened his shop in the historical township of New Paltz, New York in 1974 and has spent most of his life working in this beautiful Hudson Valley region.
For many years Levy operated his antiques business out of his 18th Century stone house and a small out building. The shop is now located in the '1792 Hallock House', a building which was relocated to the property from Orange County, New York in the 1980's
Levy has a particular love and knowledge of items from the Hudson Valley; this is reflected in the unique merchandise offered in the shop. He is a well-known dealer in regional artists such as D.F. Hasbrouck, T. B. Pope, Michael Kelly, Joseph Tubby, and Julia Dillon. Levy also specializes in furniture from the Valley, including kasten and country pieces in original surfaces. The shop is always filled with a wide array of items including textiles, china, stoneware, and glassware.
