Very fine Sheraton carved and figured mahogany server with arched and shaped backsplash flanked by raised box drawers; the case with one large top and drawer above two cupboard doors, raised on bulbous turned and reeded legs ending in brass ferrule feet, the drawers with richly figured crotch mahogany veneers and crossbanded borders and retaining the original lion mask brasses showing traces of original fire gilding. Attributed to the workshop of Duncan Phyfe, New York, circa 1810–15, entirely original, measuring 51 inches wide, 56 inches high, 21 1/2 inches deep.
