A George III silver pastry / fish server by John Shekelton, London, 1807, was reported stolen from a shop here on September 28.
Of heavy gauge silver, in the Fiddle pattern, the two-piece, spade-shaped server features a spring closing, the top and bottom sections each have rectangular piercing and finely reeded edges, unengraved terminal. It is described as in very good condition; with good spring and good marks (Grimwade #1674), 115/8 inches long and 6.5 ounces.
