KINGSTON, N.Y. — On Friday, August 22, JMW Auction Service will sell 300 lots of paintings, prints and a single-owner breweriana collection, along with some other miscellaneous estate goods. The artwork will include paintings from the Albert Burnette Roberts estate (Hudson, N.Y.), more than 150 paintings by artist Roland Partos directly from his Kingston, N.Y., estate, approximately 150 paintings and prints from a Dutchess County, N.Y., estate of a gentleman who supported the local arts, Twenty large, abstract paintings from the storage facility of mixed media artist David Ellis and a huge quantity of prints and paintings from the closed Albany, N.Y., shop known as Clement Frame Shop and Art Gallery. This will include large lots suitable for dealers.

Also in the sale is a group of Asian paintings and screens from a Kerhonkson, N.Y., estate. Artists will include William Thomson, K. L. McKenna, Jimmy Lee Suduth, Juanita H. Leonard, Edward Berkise, Robert Broner, Petie Brigham, L. Marchant, Seth Nadel, Will Faller, Salvador Dalí, Steven James Petruccio, M. Lawton Huban, Tom Nicholas, James Penniston Barraclough, Ralph Elmer Clarkson, Berkeley Jr Williams, Cyril Fradan, Magdalena Greene, Dagmar Marian, George Englert, Robert Highsmith, Edna Tompkins, Jon Carsman, Louise Kamp, Rhoda Carleton Holmes Nicholls, Francisco Bores Lopez, Michel Gerard Gilbert, Dario Viterbo, A. Voelkel, Alfred Reginald Thomson, Charles W. Gay, John Clayton, Hans Bartenboch and Nathan Oliveira. Plus, there are many unsigned pieces.

The breweriana collection features many trays and accessories related to beer and alcohol. Some furniture will be added to the sale, plus a Wurlitzer Model 2800 jukebox.

The preview will be Thursday, August 21, from noon until 6 pm.
