KINGSTON, N.Y. — On Friday, June 20, at 3 pm Eastern Time, JMW Auction will conduct an ephemera auction, primarily from one estate of an long-time ephemera dealer, with select additions from a New York City photography dealer and estates throughout the Hudson Valley. The sale will include tens of thousands of Victorian-era die cuts, postcards, lithos and trade cards. The consignor had most separated and in sleeves by categories, with many more still to be separated, in albums and loose.
Also from this collection will be magazines, books, children’s books, video games and accessories, toys, games, correspondence, prints, advertising, pinup photos, manuscripts, documents, photography, thousands of celebrity press photos, autographs, diaries, almanacs, valentines and more.
Additionally, a collection of high-end holiday postcards comes from a Liberty, N.Y., estate collection; cameras from a Kingston, N.Y., collection; early manuscripts and documents from a Pennsylvania collection; and more.
Preview will be Thursday, June 19, from noon until 6 pm. This sale is online and absentee bids only, with online bidding with LiveAuctioneers.
