Pro Patria: Relics & Trophies of War
1861 handwritten spy report, submitted to McClellan by Union spymaster Allan Pinkerton, signed EJ. Allen (his alias). 20 pages detail enemy camps, terrain & local loyaties, written days before the Union moved to occupy eastern Virginia.
A selection of very hard-to-find Luger & Nambu pistols, as well as many other military firearms & edged weapons.
Edo Period kabuto helmet & matching menpo, signed by Yasukane of Joshu. Circa 1750-1850.
1936 West Point class ring of Lieutenant General William P. Yarborough, “Father of the Green Berets,” chosen by President Kennedy in 1961 to develop modern Special Forces doctrine.
1935 cabinet, Blue Max & Luftwaffe inlays. Few German leaders served in the Luftwaffe AND were awarded the Blue Max. Two of them were Ernst Udet & Herman Goering.
