In the category of fine printing and limited signed editions there are copies of Dortu (1971) “Toulouse – Lautrec et Son Oeuvre,” by Shakespeare (1908) “The Tempest,” with illustrations by Dulac, a set of 6 custom leath-e r- b o u n d works of Beatrice Potter, and by Arthur Rackham (1918) “The Springtide of Life: Poems of Childhood,” and (1919) “Some British Ballads,”
In the category of ephemera and the unusual, there is a matted print and 1848 signed letter by Charles Francis Adams. U.S. Minister to Britain during the Civil War, twelve signed prints by the noted maritime artist William Gilkerson, Yale memorabilia including a Yale /Harvard November22,1947 Official Football Program and an “Our World” 10/1949 issue on Levi Jackson Yale’s first African American football player and team captain, and by Hervilly “1886 Calendrier Parisien,” in a silk binding provided to customers of the Conquet Bookstore in Paris. We also have a copy of Kahn’s (1947) “The Voice,” 1st edition in dj and signed by Kahn with an inscription and the dated signature by Frank Sinatra.
Lastly, for those with an interest in the paranormal there is a two-volume set of Regardie’s (1971) “The Golden Dawn,” and a copy of his work “The Eye in the Triangle.” Want to interpret your dream? Then consider Colombiere’s (circa 1800) “Le Grande Traite des Songes,” or risk a nightmare by reading Lowndes (1939) “Lizzie Borden: A Study in Conjecture. And this listing doesn’t even include signed copies of “Roots,” “A Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Pelican Brief,” “In Cold Blood,” or “History as Literature and Other Essays,” by President Theodore Roosevelt.
