LOS ANGELES — Abell Auction will present a two-day fine art, jewelry, antiques and design auction on March 15 and 16. Collectors and connoisseurs will find a selection of more than 70 lots of estate jewelry, featuring a 10.22-carat diamond ring ($200/300,000) and masterfully crafted pieces by Bulgari, David Webb and other world-renowned designers. Live online bidding begins at 10 am each day.
This sale also spotlights the personal collection of designer George Doan, featuring Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese furniture and antiques. Doan was celebrated for his work with celebrities, business magnates and political leaders worldwide. He transformed a historic Pennsylvania firehouse into an architectural gem and designed interiors for James Biddle, former president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Fine art highlights include works signed or attributed to Louis Ritman, David Hockney, Alexander Calder, Charles (Chuck) Arnoldi, Billy Al Bengston, Pablo Picasso, Robert Motherwell, Sam Francis and Sigmund Joseph Menkes and much more.
