DANIELSON, CONN. — Just like Christmas, Country Antiques in Connecticut’s Quiet Corner comes just once a year. And like Christmas, there are surprises, specially selected treasures and gourmet treats for everyone. This year’s show, the 31st edition, will take place on Saturday, March 29, at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.

The show is known for its country theme and will feature a wide range of useful architectural pieces, textiles, furniture, many in early paint and decorative accessories for the home.

This year, dealers hail from every New England state as well as New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Indiana. Show regulars are back, including Randi Ona, Brian Bartizek, Lorraine German, Rick Fuller, Mary Elliot, Charlie Guinipero, Naomi Ayote, Bret Cabral and Dan and Karen Olson. New this year is Jane Ashton from Princeton, N.J.

General admission is from 10 am to 3 pm for $10, and early buyers are admitted at 9 am for $20. Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School is at 613 Upper Maple Street. Visitors come for the antiques and stay for the grilled chicken lunch and mouth-watering desserts. All proceeds benefit the projects of the Ellis Tech Parent Faculty Organization.
