CONCORD, N.H. — New England Regional Chapters of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) invite the public to its Regional Mart from 8 am to noon on Saturday, April 26, at the Douglas N. Everett Arena. Admission price is $10, or $5 with a copy of this article.
The event features more than 100 exhibitor tables loaded with antique clocks, vintage wrist and pocket watches, tools, parts, books on horology and related collectibles. The Mart is a perfect time to discuss horology with knowledgeable enthusiasts or add items for your personal use or collection. Unlike an auction, there is no buyer’s premium on sales.
Featured exhibitors include Jones & Horan Horological Specialists, Delaney Antique Clocks, the Vintage Watchman and Pompeo Auctions and Estates, as well as many other Eastern states collectors.
The Mart will feature a Roadshow-style booth where attendees who bring their treasured old timekeepers can receive free descriptions of their articles from knowledgeable horologists, enabling the attendee to discuss value with their favorite exhibitor.
On Saturday afternoon, horological enthusiasts attending the Mart are invited to travel a short distance south to the Schmitt & Horan auction house at 80 Raymond Road, Candia, N.H., for a preview of items that will be offered for auction in May.
