NEW YORK CITY — Lark Mason Associates hosted an auction of Fine Jewelry & Fashion from the Estate of Mary A. Yturria, which included more than 200 lots and ended on June 15. The shining top lot of the sale was a platinum ring set with three diamonds, the center stone being a 10.29-carat brilliant cut marquise diamond, which achieved $225,000 against its $125/175,000 estimate. The two diamonds flanking the marquise were described as “trillion” cut and weighed about 0.7 carats each. Jewelry was the most popular category among high bidders, with some fine and decorative arts included.
