– A rare Newcomb college pottery lidded canister by Henrietta Joor, circa 1904, sold this past Sunday, September 28, at Simpson Gallery, for $78,400.
The rare piece measured eight inches in height and was purchased by a collector in Florida who outbid eight other bidders in the packed auction room.
