Stolen from a private collection during the evening of September 8 as reported to the Houston Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is a Pierre-Auguste Renoir painting, “Madeleine Leaning on Her Elbow with Flowers in Her Hair,” 1918, 19¾ by 16¼ inches.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the return of the painting.
