WATERBURY, CONN. — The Kalenauskas family has a tradition of visiting the graves of its deceased family members on All Saints Day (November 1). Sometime between their last visit to Calvary Cemetery here last fall and April, two angels monuments on the side of the main headstone at the family plot were taken. An article in the Waterbury Republican-American confirmed this theft and said that police are investigating a the larger issue of other thefts at the cemetery of various memorial markers with a value of between $100,000 to $150,000 recently stolen.
