Scrimshaw Weekend Continues Through May 15
NEW BEDFORD, MASS. – The 28th annual Scrimshaw Weekend got underway Friday, May 13, at the New Bedford Whaling Museum with a full program of talks and trading to interest marine art and history buffs. Scholarly presentations begin this evening and continue through Sunday, May 15. Shopped by some of the field’s best eyes, the much anticipated Nautical Antiques Show kicked off proceedings.
