TRUMBULL, CONN. — A.C. Richard Pinto, 87, died Saturday, June 22, in Bridgeport Hospital. A.C., along with his late wife, Manja Pinto, operated the A.C. Richard Pinto and Company Estate Auctioneers until his retirement in 2005.
Born in Waterbury, Conn., on April 21, 1926, he was the son of Rose Innaimo Pinto and Cesare Pinto.
A.C. Richard proudly served his country in World War II aboard the aircraft carrier Essex, as a gunnery captain. He is survived by two sons, Richard Pinto and his wife Cyndy, and Edward Pinto and his partner Kelli Toro, grandchildren Richard E. Pinto, Bryanna Pinto and Joey Toro and great-grandson Miles Pinto who all loved their “Grandpa Weezee,” beloved nephew Max Weiss and endeared friend Rose Cavalli, former wife Gloria Ann Nolan, former daughter-in-law Pamela Pinto, and her partner David Rorak, all of Fairfield, as well as many friends and all his animals that he cherished and cared for.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place June 27. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal charity of one’s choice.
