Edith Lucille (Allen Roberts) Howard, American/PA/NJ/DE, 1885-1960, Barbizon style landscape, 25" x 30", born in VT, attended Moore College of Art, Member Philadelphia Ten from 1917 to 1945.
George Whitney, American, PA, 1890-1979, o/c, Farm Landscape with Horses, 30" x 36". He was an art teacher at Westtown School in Pennsylvania, he was the author of Winter's Mischief, a novel for adolescents, and illustrator for William Penn, a biography for children.  His correspondence is in the Haverford College Collection.  He was born December 27, 1890 in Tokyo, Japan to parents Willis Norton and Mary Caroline Braithwaite.
