Sterling Associates Spring Auction will present a monumental collection of trains, porcelain, Asian porcelain, Fine Estate Jewelry, paintings and art, sculptures, lighting, clocks, and much more. A vast selection of pre-war hand-made trains are from the lifetime collection and estate of Ray Hoelz. Manufacturers include but are not limited to: Icken, Lobaugh, Miniature Locomotive Co, Stapleton, Pomona Valley Model Supply, Inc., and Hobby Craft Store N.Y.C Featured in the Asian porcelain selection is a pair of Chinese Familie Rose "Mandarin Pattern" covered vases, Qianlong; Circa 1750. Other Asian pieces include a wide selection of art, sculpture, and furniture. The auction will also present an extensive collection of 19th and 20th Century porcelain including, Capidomonte, Haviland, Meissen and Dresden. A lovely selection of fine estate jewelry is highlighted by a platinum and diamond ring with a 2.74 carat round diamond, GIA certified. An electric Hamilton as well as Longines, Benrus and Piccard contribute to the watch portion of the jewelry collection. Several gold, semi-precious pieces, cufflinks, and stick pins will also be offered. Not to be missed is a great Glass collection featuring Stueben, Lalique, Waterford, Venetian and Murano items. A pair of beautiful gilt and bronze Torchieres circa 1910 are included in an eclectic collection of lighting from the 19th and 20th Centuries. Other items not to be missed are 19th and 20th Century furniture, bronzes and paintings. Particular bronzes of interest are a silvered Bronze, After: Evgeny Alexandrovich Lanceray, Russian (1848-1886) and a beautifully cast rare "hunting" bronze by Auguste-Nicolas Cain, French (1821-1894). A signed and dated sculpted bronze nude on a marble base by Wyatt is 1/9. A broad exhibition of 19th and 20th Century paintings featuring the artists Morland, Lindholm and Chandler are represented in the paintings selection. Dolls, coins and Juke Boxes including a Wurlitzer, add an element of pizazz to the Spring Auction.
