Clothing from her studio and home includes fashions from Edwardian through 1950-1960s. Over 100 dresses in satins, velvets and crepe de chine; over 100 hats from a Flapper cloche to beaver top hat; men’s tuxedo, military uniforms and old costumes; a group of ethnic embroidered Scandinavian clothing; a neat Suffragette-era coat and hat; beaded and alligator purses; a variety of textiles; coverlets and vintage/antique drapery fabrics from Egyptian Revival appliqué to a Battenburg type coverlet. Lady O used antique props and her private clothing collection to pose her subjects. Recreating bygone days in black and white imagery.
